The third album arrives soon. WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN marks my return to English-language songwriting after НА ВЕСЬ МИР’s Russian exploration. This collection emerged from a different emotional space – quieter, more questioning, carrying the weight of distance and uncertainty.
Writing in English again feels like coming home after a necessary detour. The Russian album taught me things about vulnerability and directness that now inform how I approach English lyrics. WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN benefits from both journeys, combining the emotional rawness I discovered writing in my native tongue with the poetic distance English provides.
The title track explores separation anxiety and the desperate hope that connection survives physical absence. That question – will I see you again? – haunts every song on the album in different forms. Sometimes it’s about lovers, sometimes about places, sometimes about versions of yourself you’ve left behind.
Collaboration with Vladislav Mazur continues evolving. We’ve pushed into more atmospheric territories, letting songs breathe and develop at their own pace rather than forcing structures. The production serves the emotional weight without overwhelming the intimacy these songs require.
This album feels more patient than previous work. Less urgent, more contemplative. The sonic palette draws heavily from shoegaze textures while maintaining the indie-pop sensibility that defines my approach. Guitar work from Vitaly adds layers of melancholy that perfectly capture the album’s emotional core.
Recording happened during a period of genuine uncertainty about the future, and that bleeds through every track. WILL I see you again? becomes both question and meditation on impermanence, connection, and the courage required to keep reaching out despite knowing nothing lasts forever.
More details dropping soon. This one feels special.
