The concert is on 23rd July. We have a month left, and most of them look the same: the rehearsal room, the same songs played until they stop feeling like songs and start feeling like something else entirely.
Rehearsals before a show have a specific quality. You are not performing yet, but you are not just practising either. Every run-through carries a little more weight. The arrangements settle. The energy between the band shifts. You start to feel when the set is ready and when it still needs something.
Today at 9 pm Moscow time I am streaming the rehearsal live on Bandcamp. No production, no stage lighting. Just the three of us working through the set we are taking to the stage in July. You will see what that preparation actually looks like, including the moments when we stop, adjust, and go again.
