Tonight at 18:00, I’m heading to Flanger Studio for a jam session with musician friends, and I’m streaming it live for you.
This is completely unstructured musical exploration. No setlist, no predetermined direction, just instruments and players feeding off each other’s energy. Jam sessions are where I often discover new song ideas or unexpected approaches to existing material that wouldn’t emerge during solo writing.
The collaborative flow between different musicians creates possibilities you simply cannot access alone. Someone plays an interesting progression, another responds with complementary rhythm, vocals emerge naturally, and suddenly you’re in territory none of you planned. That’s when the best musical accidents happen.
We might work on fragments of new tracks, revisit older material with fresh perspectives, or follow completely random creative tangents. The entire point is surrendering control and trusting the collective instinct. Pure creation without pressure of final products.
You’ll essentially be sitting in on private creative time between friends making music for the joy of it. No polished performances here, just raw collaborative energy captured live from Flanger Studio.
