The LAND OF LIGHT EP is coming soon, and these five tracks represent the most cohesive statement I’ve made as an artist. After months of individual releases, creating a complete listening experience felt like the natural next step.
The EP opens with HIGH – a track that establishes the emotional territory we’ll be exploring. This isn’t about literal highs and lows, but about those elevated moments when clarity cuts through confusion. The production sets the atmospheric tone for everything that follows.
MY OLD FRIEND shifts into more personal territory, examining relationships that evolve beyond their original definitions. Sometimes the people who matter most become unrecognizable through time and change, yet the connection persists in transformed ways.
BE WHO YOU ARE explores authenticity as an ongoing process rather than a destination. The lyrics question whether being yourself is even possible when identity feels constantly shifting. This track pushes into more experimental sonic territory while maintaining emotional accessibility.
FOREVER WRONG sits at the EP’s emotional center – a meditation on accepting that some feelings resist resolution. Not every internal conflict needs to be solved; sometimes peace comes from embracing complexity rather than demanding clarity.
The EP closes with PART OF THE WAY (To Mother) – the most vulnerable track I’ve written. This explores family relationships and the ways we carry our origins forward even when moving in completely different directions. The parenthetical in the title suggests journey rather than arrival.
Conceptually, LAND OF LIGHT examines illumination as something earned rather than given. These songs document the process of finding clarity through confusion, connection through isolation, authenticity through uncertainty. Light emerges gradually rather than suddenly.
Production-wise, each track maintains individual character while contributing to the EP’s overall arc. We wanted listeners to experience this as a journey with distinct stops rather than five unrelated songs. Every transition serves the broader narrative.
This collection represents two years of creative evolution condensed into twenty-five minutes. From HIGH’s atmospheric opening to PART OF THE WAY’s intimate conclusion, these songs map emotional territory I’m still discovering myself.
The full EP drops soon. These five tracks feel ready to exist together in the world.
