We tend to play in one mood. Same people, same energy, same direction. It works, but it settles into a pattern without you noticing.
This time we are doing something different.
On the 3rd of May, we are gathering warm, open musicians for an improvisation session with a specific twist. Each participant will draw an emotion. Not a key or a tempo. An emotion. Joy, anxiety, calm, anger, tenderness, confusion, inspiration. A lottery of inner states.
The task is not to perform that emotion. It is to listen. To give it space. To find a point of contact with whoever is next to you and catch a shared frequency from inside something genuinely different.
This is an evening about hearing, about the quiet that matters, about what happens when several people bring completely different feelings into the same room and decide to play anyway.
Instruments: anything you have. Voice counts.
