Sometimes you create something and wonder if it’ll find its audience. Yesterday morning I woke up to see our track “Возьми мою руку” (“Take My Hand”) featured in “Электроника | Что послушать” (“Electronics | What to Listen To”). Getting noticed by music critics who actually understand electronic music feels different than random playlist adds.
Working with Vlad Mazur happened naturally. He runs his own studio, teaches at the Institute of Cinema and Television, yet still finds time to craft these intimate electronic pieces. The collaboration started as winter recording sessions, but somehow summer energy found its way into every synth line.
What caught the reviewer’s attention was this 90s rave nostalgia wrapped in contemporary production. They described it as “awakening from deep sleep” and mentioned how two voices create emotional impact. Reading their analysis made me realize we’d captured something specific without overthinking it.
The track represents my recent exploration of how electronic music can carry genuine feeling without losing edge. Not every collaboration works, but this one found its own strange euphoria. Having critics recognize that balance means we’re moving in the right direction.
