Zillions Magazine Reviews “Chasing Signs”

Woke up this morning to something rather unexpected. Zillions Magazine published a proper review of “Chasing Signs” and honestly, I’m still processing it. Reading someone describe your music as “auditory brutality” whilst simultaneously calling it “transcendent” feels surreal.

The reviewer caught something I’d hoped would come through but wasn’t entirely certain about. That tension between hard rock aggression and indie pop vulnerability. Writing “Chasing Signs” meant pushing into territory that felt risky, blending elements that don’t always play nicely together.

What struck me most was their observation about “desperate quest for knowledge.” That’s exactly what this track represents for me. The whole creative process felt like chasing something just beyond reach, trying to capture feelings that don’t translate easily into words or melodies.

The phrase “cavalcade of auditory brutality” made me laugh. In the best possible way. There’s something beautifully dramatic about that description, and it captures the intensity I was aiming for without making it sound pretentious.

Reviews like this remind me why taking creative risks matters. “Chasing Signs” could have been safer, more predictable. Instead, it became this hybrid that apparently works for people outside my immediate circle.

Rather encouraging way to start the week, actually.
