Today marks the release of ЗАБУДЬ. ПРОСНИСЬ. ВЕСНА – my fourth Russian-language track and perhaps the most spontaneous creation yet. This song represents creative breakthrough in embracing native language expression while maintaining the emotional honesty that defines my artistic approach.
The track emerged organically during studio session with Vladislav Mazur at Chuvakam. Vlad simply started playing guitar, I began singing along, and lyrics flowed immediately. Sometimes the best art happens when you stop forcing inspiration and let creativity flow naturally through familiar channels.
ЗАБУДЬ. ПРОСНИСЬ. ВЕСНА translates roughly to “Forget. Wake up. Spring” – capturing themes of renewal, release, and positive transformation. This deliberately avoids the melancholy territory of previous releases, focusing instead on romantic optimism and life-affirming energy.
Those who attended Атмосферика festival this summer already experienced this track live. The audience response confirmed that Russian lyrics create different intimacy with domestic crowds. Native language removes barriers between performer and listener, enabling direct emotional transmission.
Musically, the track embraces lighter textures while maintaining signature experimental elements. Guitar work drives momentum forward rather than dwelling in contemplative spaces. Rhythmic choices support uplifting message rather than contradicting it through darker arrangements.
Creating in Russian feels like returning home after long journey abroad. English provides artistic distance that enables certain explorations, but Russian cuts straight to emotional core. This linguistic choice opens new creative possibilities while honoring cultural roots.
The decision to release more Russian material reflects artistic maturity and confidence in bilingual approach. Language becomes another instrument in creative toolkit rather than limiting factor. Different languages unlock different emotional territories.
