Behind the Scenes: GIMME WHAT I WANT Video Shoot

Three days of shooting wrapped yesterday, and I’m still processing what we created. This video pushes boundaries I never thought I’d cross as an artist.

Our director came to me with this intense concept about desire, betrayal, and consequence. When he first pitched the story, I wasn’t sure I was ready for something this dark. But the song itself has this demanding energy that called for equally bold visuals.

The shoot started in downtown Moscow. Those opening elevator scenes took forever to get right – we needed that perfect tension between anticipation and dread. The city backdrop feels essential to the story. There’s something about urban isolation that matches the emotional landscape of the track.

Both actors brought this natural intensity that made every scene feel real. Everyone understood their character’s complexity – nothing is black and white in this story.

Day two was the apartment scenes. Probably the most emotionally demanding part of the shoot. Discovering betrayal, showing that raw moment when everything you believed crumbles – it required going to places I don’t usually access as a performer.

The director’s approach to the darker elements impressed me. Instead of showing violence explicitly, we use suggestion and emotion. Black screens replace graphic moments. The focus stays on internal devastation rather than external action.

We shot the final sequences yesterday. Without spoiling anything, let’s say this video explores what happens when someone decides to take control of their narrative, regardless of cost.

The cinematography captures this noir aesthetic that perfectly complements the song’s intensity. Every frame feels deliberate, building toward something inevitable.

This video will challenge people. It’s not comfortable viewing, but neither is the emotional territory the song explores. Sometimes art needs to reflect the darker sides of human desire and desperation.

Can’t wait for you to see what we’ve created. This one’s going to stay with you.
