‘Morning’ Live Session Is Up

Sometimes the simplest songs deserve the simplest treatment.

We filmed ‘Morning’ as a live session, and it’s now on YouTube. Just me, the guitar, and whatever honesty I could bring to that room. No studio tricks, no layered production to hide behind. What you hear is what happened.

This track always felt different from the rest of the album. ‘Will I See You Again’ deals with heavy questions, loss, pretending, carrying weight. But ‘Morning’ exists in that quiet space before any of that matters. Waking up next to someone, sunlight through curtains, coffee brewing. Those moments when life feels uncomplicated for once.

Filming it live felt necessary. The studio version has its own warmth, but there’s something about watching a song happen in real time. You see the breath between phrases, the small imperfections that make music human. Vlad captured it beautifully.

I was nervous, honestly. Live performances don’t allow for second takes or fixing that one note you didn’t quite nail. But maybe that vulnerability is exactly what ‘Morning’ needed. The song is about dropping your guard, after all.

Let me know what you think. These live sessions might become a regular thing if people connect with them.
